I disagree...Steve Brown has a track record of wrestling outstanding wrestlers tough...this is the kind of match-up he probably wins 2 out of 10 times I think. I give him credit for keeping matches with Metcalf and Burroughs close without it looking like stalling. Versus guys like Morningstar who win matches and they still look like they stalled all the way through it. (See Matt Nagel here).

Thats pretty damning of Nebraska, #12? Hmmm....there is enough talent there but it doesn't all show up at the same time it would appear.

They are not a decent dual team, we knew that going into this year.. Way too many holes down bottom

However Burroughs (if he is healthy) + Dwyer + Brester + Lane is still a top 10 tournament team

Hodge is Metcalf vs Varner PERIOD! Craig Brester is Varner's obstacle and Metcalf's only obstacle is Kevin LeValley

Agree with you on Brester.........he could win this year as he has in the past. Doubt that LeValley will be a problem to Metcalf in the future........I'm hoping that Palmer and Ruschell give him fits.

Watch last year's Midlands -Ruschell set up a move perfectly , executed it perfectly and got tossed on his back for the trouble .
When you start counting the matches a guy does not win by fall as a ''moral'' victory -YOU have someone special .
