I doubt that he is permanently ineligible because I doubt he got more that 5-15k for his experience in Beijing, but I could definitely see there being quite a few hurdles to jump through to get him eligible...

MN will take care of him well and he'll get on the mat.
There are pre-enrollment and post-enrollment standards for amateurism issues. Signing an NLI does not trigger enrollment, so he would have still been in the pre-enrollment category which is more lenient than post-enrollment. Additionally, didn't he sign the NLI after the Olympic games were over?

Lil Miss Smarty pants coming on here and showing off her knowledge
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.

Yeah, real knowledge and expertise is really a downer on this board, Won't you please keep it to realms of hearsay, innuendo, and gossip like the rest of us? Jeesh...

Please do NOT reverse the 1st and 4th letters in that word.

Word was that Tiger was sick of the NCAA looking under every rock to find a violation. In that way I liken the NCAA to a facist government where you are GUILTY until PROVEN INNOCENT.

From that I only deduce & assume that if Jake is guilty of anything the NCAA says THATS IT on your college career.
Arnie palmer took Tiger to dinner when he was 19 and then had to send arnie a check to cover his meal because of NCAA rules. somehow i doubt arnie cashed the check

Yes, my original number was over the top but it still does not change the point. Players are receiving up to 850 dollars worth of gifts (i know football players i went to school with were selling some of the more expensive items for cash) again i dont think it is wrong that they are getting these gifts but still a double standard in my opinion.
