Minnesota is wrestling in the southern scuffle. Jake Deitchler is listed as a 157 wrestler on the scuffle line up

I would interpret that to mean if he's wrestling at scuffle he may be eligible, and if he's at midlands there may be an eligibility issue.

Why mason is going to midlands though is beyond me?

Is this a new trend? Sending your guys to different tournaments to get the matchups you want? Just following fantasy has made me realize this and I'm wondering if it's new or something that has been going on for awhile.

Deitchler is not registered for the Scuffle.

The story from the Guillotine is that Mason is going to the Midlands to provide a teammate/workout partner for Deitchler..........why Deitchler is going.............open to speculation.

At this point wouldn't it make sense to redshirt him given all the time he lost?

It's amazing all the speculation after some guy posts something completly made up.

Theres nothing to do but speculate when the coach refuses to talk to anyone about anything. I understand being somewhat hush hush about injuries but what is there to hide?

J Rob has done a lot for the sport regarding publicity, but why won't he keep his own fans somewhat in the loop about their star recruit/wrestlers?

This HAS been a pretty mum year from J. Rob. Maybe he has something special in his stable and just doesn't want to let anything out. Or, he is just doing what the NCAA is telling him to do.
