    Joe Grygelko v. Jordan Burroughs

1st Period: Burroughs with an immediate shot fake off the whistle. Both guys working out in space a little bit and then wind up going out...Burroughs with a low single attempt off the whistle but Grygelko stays away. Couple more shot fakes by Burroughs. Grygelko not trying anything but he's hand fighting well...as I type this Grygelko takes a bad shot, Burroughs blocks him out in front, tries to spin and doesn't get it then drops down to his more customary reshot for a pretty easy TD...2-0 Burroughs. Burroughs rides for a bit and then cuts...2-1 Burroughs. Couple shot attempts by Burroughs that Grygelko blocks off, Grygelko shoots...Burroughs blocks off and hits a reshot pick for a TD...4-1 Burroughs with 30 seconds to go as Grygelko starts bleeding. Burroughs cuts...4-2 Burroughs. Burroughs fakes a few times from down on a knee then in on his double and gets the angle to pick up the TD. Period ends 6-2 Burroughs.

2nd Period: Grygelko starts down, and Burroughs goes optional off the whistle...6-3 Burroughs, and then he comes back with an easy blast double TD...8-3 Burroughs attempting to go bent leg turk but it gets called PD...cuts to make it 8-4...shot attempt by Grygelko, Burroughs blocks him out in front with one hand and then barrels back in on a reshot that he gets 2 NF from as well...12-4 Burroughs, cuts for 12-5. Double leg TD and cut off the restart...14-6 Burroughs. Burroughs in on a half shot that Grygelko kind of blocks off, barrels back in on a reshot for the TD as soon as Grygelko lost contact...period ends 16-6 Burroughs, but the period end says 15-6.

3rd Period: Burroughs with an early TD for what I thought should be 18-6 but actually would make it 17-6 on the Minnesota scoreboard. Burroughs with injury time for assumedly his mouth. Burroughs cuts for 17-7, Grygelko rushes in and Burroughs drags behind for 19-7. Burroughs cuts off another restart...19-8 Burroughs. Grygelko in on a shot and has the angle, comes close to a cradle on the edge but can't drag the feet. Shot by Grygelko and Burroughs works behind...21-8 Burroughs, cuts for 21-9...shot by Burroughs and drags the big toes on the edge, I have it 23-9 right now by what I assumed was the Minnesota score, but they have it down now as 24-9 so I guess Burroughs got the point that I thought he was missing.

Jordan Burroughs tech Joe Grygelko 24-9

    25-11 Minnesota.

Who is Chris Hacker ?? Where was Napier ??? Napier laid a 1 point beat down on Ortega so I was looking for the upset at 33.

    Dustin Schlatter v. James Nakishima

1st Period: Dustin comes out with a shaved head and apparently a bad mood as he's in immediately on a sweep single that he finishes for a quick TD...2-0 Schlatter as Nakishima takes an injury time. Dustin riding hard with a tight waist but having some trouble securing wrists. Nakishima stands up and Dustin doesn't really provide an attempt to try and keep him down...2-1 Schlatter. Shot attempt by Schlatter, Nakishima blocks and Dustin in with his trademark duck under for another TD...4-1 Schlatter. Schlatter rolling a 2 on 1 under...now throwing it up on the back...someone is bleeding. 4-1 Schlatter with 1:09 left. Dustin still riding going back and forth between wrists and working side to side, having trouble still though securing something to pick up backs. Dustin rides out and lead 4-1 after the first period.

2nd Period: Nakishima starts down...Dustin going optional to make it 4-2...both guys dancing around in a tie with 1:00 to go...someone else is bleeding, might be Dustin this time...4-2 Schlatter with 42 seconds to go in the period. Period ends 4-2 Schlatter.

3rd Period: Someone is bleeding again...Dustin starts down. Dustin tripods up and he's out with no trouble...5-2 Schlatter. Weak throw by attempt by Schlatter...1:00 to go, half shot by Nakishima that Dustin stops easily and then reshot ducks to finally get another TD then cuts immediately...7-3 Schlatter...Dustin tries his snap and knee block that he liked to use in freestyle but it was sloppy and didn't work...Dustin adds riding time as the match ends.

Dustin Schlatter dec James Nakishima 8-3

    28-11 Minnesota.
