He (LeValley that is) had a nice spring this year as well wrestling freestyle.

Made the finals at University Nationals (beating Dan LeClere in the process) before losing 1-0/1-0 to Mario Mason.

^^^LeValley's not studley - he's tall and slender for a 149 pounder. I'm just giving youns a heads-up that LeValley now, after another year in the Bison wrestling room and improving, likely will give the senior Metcalf a good go. -Stove Pipe

I thought LeValley was kinda storky-not in a bad way -he and Vinson had outstanding freestyle seasons .

I admit that I don't follow the freestyle results as closely, so I didn't realize that LeValley wrestled freestyle. Any notable wins?

What's a good go, two points or eight points?

I think it takes LeValley at LEAST 3 minutes to get pinned

Very good call by Mr. Stove Pipe.

    Metcalf dec LeValley 3-2.

From reading the accounts of the match over on HawkeyeReport it sounded like LeValley went after it.

The real beatdown so far came at 133 where Dennis majored Marble 14-5.

According to reports, LeValley managed to stalemate several shots from Metcalf in the first two period. Then there was some blood time (not sure for who), and then Metcalf fought off two LeValley shots near the end. Not sure how close they were, but a great effort from LeValley nonetheless.
