Cael is headed to POLAND next month to wrestle...

Sanderson juggles it all - Sports | Centre Daily Times

Also yes Cael & the team won team of the year awards...

Penn State wrestling pins down awards - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

...as did the PSU WVB team...Penn State became the first Division I women's volleyball team to win four consecutive national titles. It also captured its eighth straight Big Ten title ? and 14th overall.

ALSO since we have actually been discussing MBB here I find this very interesting, that New Penn State men's basketball coach Patrick Chambers hired Keith Urgo as assistant coach. Urgo spent the past four seasons as an assistant at Villanova. There has been a lot of discussion that PSU has not been able to recruit well in Philly, hot of the hotbeds of HS basketball recruiting int he country.

    FROM TIM OWEN @ BWI
Confirmed: Derek Reber will transfer to Penn StateTim has been able to confirm with Derek Reber that he will transfer to Penn State from Bucknell. Reber, who has two years of eligibility remaining, is a 2009 national qualifier and a four-time PIAA 'AA' state place winner, including a state title in 2008.

Reber has exclusively competed at the 125-pound weight class in college and will likely wrestle at 125 or 133 pounds for the Nittany Lions. If he remains at 125 pounds, he will join a stacked weight class that includes Frank Martellotti, Nate Morgan, Cameron Kelly, and newcomers Michael Waters, Jordan Conaway, and the nations top high school 125-pounder Nico Megaludis.
(ADD Jimmy Gulibon to that MIX)

After talking with Derek a little more, he says 133 pounds might be his best option, but he is also trying to add some muscle to possibly go 141 pounds. That might be the best option in order to earn a starting spot, but that is quite the jump from 125.

Additionally, this will be a clean transfer, and he will not lose any eligibility.

Starting to develop pretty impressive depth at PSU.

They're especially deep in the lighter weights (well, up to 165). The first couple of weights are 3 or more deep with really solid guys. But starting at 174 the depth falls off markedly. Hopefully they'll get some good guys in the heavier weights in the next 2 years' recruiting classes. I know we have great guys at the starter position, but not a lot of depth of someone gets hurt.
