PSU recruits @ Walsh Jesuit Ironman

I have watched these 2 videos & Andrew is methodical if not boring in his 5-4 win over Squire. Squire won the Ohio title his freshman year @ 119, 2nd soph yr @ 130 & last year lost in the semis & finished 6th, (sounds like injury or he quit). Andrew is obviously better in the beginning but gets sloppy in the end & thinks he can just muscle Squire with a cement mixer & standing cradle. To his credit, Squire starts off timid & gains confidence as the match goes. He ends up being the aggressor @ the end but comes up short. Squire was ranked #17 @ 135 last year.

Dylan is very solid against his Blair opponent with a 7-2 win. The beating IS worse then it sounds. Shanaman really has no answer for Alton who is RELENTLESS on his doubles & body slams Shanaman about 5 or 6 times. Even @ the end when both are gassed, Alton KEEPS coming. Very disciplined kid. Shanaman last year was 30-9 @ Blair & had finished 6th @ the Ironman. He is going to Cornell is ranked #14 @ 152 by Intermat.

This is a very interesting turn of events. I had been talking to a few people @ PSU about what was going to happen next year @ regarding Jenkins/Molinaro/Taylor all competing for a spot @ 49/57. As well what was going to happen with Macchiaroli/Ruth/Wright competing for 84/97. Looks like we have a couple answers!
