Go back to hiding boys - may all PennState sports be cancelled for 5 years and the money given to the victims of PedState's Jerry Sandusky & Joe Paterno(the rapist enabler).

Agreed. Basically all he does is come on and make an outrageous statement designed to simply irritate people. Big was no where near as offensive.

He has said all along that wrestle-offs weren't the only factor. When JG won the wrestleoff a while back, Cael said that the position was his, "for now". He has always maintained that starting decisions are affected, to be sure, by wrestle-offs, but that they're not the ONLY factor. I can speculate from what's been said/written as to what the reasons might be for the switch, but I don't think Cael is being unfair in switching if he thinks that other significant factors have come into play. It would seem that the Iowa match was a significant factor, but haven't seen that in print by the coaches.
Tom, if PSU would enter the National Duals then they would have a real gauge of where their guys stand. You're not going to get that wrestling Rider and Rutgers. Of course you do have to be invited to the Duals so that may never happen.
"He beat nobodies..Thorn at 133 won't be great, R12 or worse imo...
    I just don't see it...David Thorn is not elite. I don't think he'll place"

Jammen--you're preaching to the choir with me. I really wish PSU had been there. At the same time I don't want to see the National Duals take the place of the March NCAA individual and team championships. But I have said all along I wish PSU were in the National Duals--but in the old 1 weekend in January format. But you know it's sad, there were many more people at the PSU-Rutgers dual (at Rutgers) than there were for the National Duals final. It's too bad, because I read that there was a lot of exciting wrestling going in on Minnesota! I'm hoping it will work out for PSU to be in it next year!! Anyway, congratulations on Minnesota's deserved win!

It seems that a few weeks ago that JG got the flu so they inserted JL & then Lawson took advantage of the situation & put on a good enough show that the coaches have kept him on.
