Penn St won the takedown battle 30-1. Guess who gave up the takedown?

DT!! DT and ER have given up several TD's apiece this year. It just seems to spur them on.
Anyone have the inside info on why Lawson is starting over Gingrich? Did they wrestle off again?
I don't have any inside info whatsoever. Just from reading various articles and listening to interviews, it seems that the coaching staff believes Lawson has a higher ceiling. He certainly has shown more aggresion than Gingrich in recent duals.

I'm not an insider, so I also only go on what I read. But from what I have read of Cael's commments in the past, Cael isn't being unfair. He has said all along that wrestle-offs weren't the only factor. When JG won the wrestleoff a while back, Cael said that the position was his, "for now". He has always maintained that starting decisions are affected, to be sure, by wrestle-offs, but that they're not the ONLY factor. I can speculate from what's been said/written as to what the reasons might be for the switch, but I don't think Cael is being unfair in switching if he thinks that other significant factors have come into play. It would seem that the Iowa match was a significant factor, but haven't seen that in print by the coaches.
