It's not much like DT if you don't turn him. He was more DT like in the 2nd.

    Pssh. Details.

It was more a rhetorical response to those making statements as to Chance being like a Hawkeye wrestler. He got 4 TDS in the 3rd I believe.

I guess since PSU has won one NCAA title in a row you're saying there is no difference in the Iowa style and the PSU style (whatever that is)?

I don't understand how PSU winning anything is even relevant to your question, sort of an added inapplicable. Anywho what gopherfan said...

From what I have observed Cael has a SYSTEM not necessarily a style.

OK, then I guess I should stick to my original point that Marstellar looks to me like he would fit well into the Iowa style. That's really my sole point.

I think it's one of Cael's strengths as a coach that he brings out the best in his wrestlers without trying to fit them into a mold. His basic rule is to wrestle hard for seven minutes (or more if needed). He lets you keep your style as much as possible. I have to believe that's very attractive to elite wrestlers.

The only consistent "style" I've seen from Iowa in recent years is that the wrestlers look like it's been a bad day at the office, win or lose. ;^)
