Default 5 Daughters in 5 Months for Virginia Coaches

    5 Daughters, 5 Months
Having a healthy child is important to every expectant father. Second most important? Gender. A statistical improbability became a single-gender reality in Charlottesville, Virginia. Five University of Virginia coaches, including assistant coach Scott Moore (left) and head coach Steve Garland (right), will be welcoming daughters in the next five months. InterMat staff writer Tim Foley tells the story.

    Really cute story!

A few weeks ago I was at a reunion for a high school football team my grandfather coached (not the Marine grandfather). One of the assistant coaches talked about how the coaching staff for that team all had daughters, not a single son. Now, that particular coach has all grandsons, no granddaughters.

We have twin daughters and I told my wife about the wrestling coach curse. I emailed her the story and she laughed!
