Brian Tannen v. Frank Molinaro

1st Period: Another slow start to things, Tannen takes a low shot on the edge that Molinaro skips out of, half shot attempt by Molinaro...another shot attempt by Tannen, Molinaro sprawls out and they got out again. High crotch from the outside by Molinaro, cuts to a double lifts it and gets the TD...2-0 Molinaro. Molinaro working a head and arm from the top, Tannen doing a nice job keeping his base, now Molinaro sticks a boot in...Molinaro looks for a guillotine for a second. Molinaro rides out to lead 2-0 after the first.

2nd Period: Molinaro kicks him away to start the period...2-1 Molinaro. Head inside single by Molinaro, tries to lift it again, Tannen doing a nice job fighting with a whizzer, but Molinaro slips behind to control the hips...4-1 Molinaro and he's back to riding with boots...Molinaro goes optional again off a restart...4-2 Molinaro, sweet little left hand high crotch TD for Molinaro, just shoots lift and finishes...very fluid...6-2 Molinaro and thats how the period ends.

3rd Period: Molinaro starts down...Molinaro up to the feet immediately and does a nice job not going down, but they go out...Molinaro up to the feet again and they go out again. Molinaro up to the feet, and then switches from his feet for the escape...7-2 Molinaro, Tannen shoots...Molinaro tries to sucker drag him by but Tannen does a nice job staying away. Another slick little left hand high crotch TD for Molinaro, and immediately cuts...9-3 Molinaro...Tannen warned for stalling. Another high crotch TD for Molinaro...11-3 Molinaro. Rides it out and adds riding time.

Wasn't the toughest bout for Molinaro, but he didn't gas. I think he's at '49 for good.

Sean Bilodeau v. Cyler Sanderson

1st Period: Announcers laughing about Cyler's gingerness to start off...pace is starting off kind of slow, no real attempts yet...throw by attempt by Bilodeau...Cyler kind of snags an ankle on the end but Bilodeau kicks away...little low ankle shot by Cyler and picks up the TD...2-0, Bilodeau power switches and kicks away for the escape...2-1 Sanderson, couple half shots by Bilodeau, Sanderson in on a reshot but Bilodeau defends...low single attempt by Cyler, Bilodeau catches him out in front but Cyler backs it out. Period ends 2-1 Cyler.

2nd Period: Cyler starts down and is cautioned for jumping the whistle...Bilodeau throws a leg in, Cyler eventually grambys out and away for the escape...3-1 Sanderson. Period ends 3-1 Cyler after not a ton of action after Cyler's escape.

3rd Period: Bilodeau does a nice job working away quickly here in the 3rd...3-2 Cyler with 90 seconds to go in the match. Little low half shot by Cyler, didn't look like he was particularly urgent to get to the leg...another low attempt by Cyler this one with a little more effort behind it. Bilodeau tries a little throw by single, Cyler stays patient and works in a little reshot double on the edge, they scramble a bit and Cyler picks up a TD on the edge at the buzzer.

Not really impressive by Sanderson, but Bilodeau looked improved.

Cyler wasn't very impressive

Maybe, but he didn't have much to worry about. Galante never even came close to his legs.

Mike Galante v. Dan Vallimont (your marquee match tonight in terms of rankings)

1st Period: Vallimont with an immediate shot off the whistle, but Galante fight it off...Vallimont back in on a head outside single, both guys with a little funk, and they're ankle to ankle...stalemated as expected. Vallimont in on another high crotch, Galante stops him out in front doing a nice job burying the head, but Vallimont runs with him. Galante eventually tries a head pinch and Vallimont catches him on his back and converts for the TD, and then a quick escape for Galante...2-1 Vallimont, and that is how the period is going to end.

2nd Period: Vallimont starts down...Vallimont works to the feet, Galante with a nice lift and return. Vallimont tripods up again, Galante tries to lift twice but then lets him go...3-1 Vallimont. Firemans attempt by Vallimont, and he's close, Galante is locked on the waist, and Vallimont covers the hips and walks up the back for the TD at the buzzer...5-1 Vallimont.

3rd Period: Galante down...and out pretty quick to make the score 5-2 Vallimont...not much action from the feet over the 1:45-1:00 interval...Vallimont with a shot now and Galante steps up and out of it...and the match ends with Galante not taking a shot.
