    Default Buffalo Open Brackets

    http://www.ubathletics.buffalo.edu/w...enbrackets.pdf

Are available above. Possible match ups of interest...

Bell, Kevin Smith, and Jimmy Conroy are all in the 133 quarters.

Krom is not entered at 141

Asper looks like he should make his way through 165

Austin Meys has pinned two opponents in :52 total, if he wins his next match he'll likely see Mike Letts

Could see Honeycutt v. Thomusseit at 184

Possibility of Tomei v. Pat Gilmore at heavyweight.

I watched Smith and Kubec last year and Kubec escaped with a 2-1 win -Smith was 29-6 going into the MAC tournament but was sick and laoss to 2 guys he'd beaten .Finished the year 29-9. This is the kid I was telling you about JensenS -yet unranked and ranked last in the MAC ?

Brackets are updated up to the semi's, and semi's are apparently going on right now. Smith and Conroy are matched up at 133.

Letts beats Meys 4-2, according to people watching the tournament on LSV.

Yes, this is true. Meys looked really tough with letts putting himself in horrible positions on his back just hanging on to a leg. A better scrambler would have pinned letts...like 3 times. Meys seems like the type who could have a Josh Patterson type of impact eventually.

This is only the first tournament for Letts, but maybe this will slowdown some of the title talk i've heard.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

    Younger brother.

They're calling Conroy to what sounds like a consi bout, so I have to assume that Smith beat him in the semi's. Green also advanced to the finals for Buffalo at 149.

Thomusseit wins a close match in the semi's over a Buffalo kid, may have won it on riding time.

Sets up a possibly decent match in the finals likely with him and Honeycutt

I think Honeycutt wins pretty definitively as well (especially after watching Thomusseit struggle in the semi's) but regardless it is a match up of two name guys.
