Gold I dont know if you have backup rules like we do. But in our league you get Scotts backup, which is True Soph Torsten Gillespie. Not exactly a shabby replacement...
    Gold is an idiot.

We dont have a sub rule.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

Waiver wire does kind of negate the need for a sub rule.

    1) We don't have a backup rule.
    2) I feel like Torsten has been around more than one year. I think he'll be a junior.
    3) Gillespie is not someone I would have drafted, anyway. I can only think of one quality win that he has: Jason Chamberlain. I really don't know how he pulled that off, either.

Anyway, Palmer will be fine for me at 149. Like I said, I had planned to trade Scott and upgrade somewhere else once he had proven himself some.

You are not giving the dude enough credit. He is no Garret Scott but he won over 30 matches and went 2-2 last year as a true Frosh (and yes he is a sophomore this year).
    Gold is an idiot.

(and yes he is a sophomore this year).
    Want to bet on that?

He's either going to be a redshirt sophomore, or a true junior.

His true freshman year was two years ago in 07/08, it got cut short when he broke a finger wrestling Frey at the Scuffle.

You are right about that actually because I remember the Frey incident...

Yet they have him listed as a sophomore on the roster and on that link you sent. And he has not rsed because he was going to RS this year to make room for Scott

Maybe I'm not giving him enough credit--I can't see what he's done to deserve all that much though. I guess he gets a lot of matches so he might score some fantasy points. You can get someone else at the supplimental, so you don't have to worry about the fact that he won't do anything in the post-season.

Like I said, he's not a guy I would draft...
