Giesen beats Francois 3-1 in OT.

Some nice scrambles in the match but they were kind of few and far between.

    Not a particularly exciting start.

Zach Sanders v. James Nicholson (I guess they plan on jumping around)

1st Period: Nicholson takes our first shot with a head inside single, he was in deep for a second but Sanders has done a nice job working his hips away, he'd squared up for a second but then got the angle again, Sanders dove through the legs to try and counter and they gave Nicholson an iffy TD call, then Sanders scramble out for the escape...2-1 Nicholson. Half shot attempt by Sanders but Nicholson blocks him off...duck under attempt by Sanders, but Nicholson catches him out in front and counters for a TD of his own...4-1 Nicholson. Nicholson throwing a leg in, Sanders sits out to his base and then stands up and away...4-2 Nicholson. Double attempt by Sanders, but Nicholson catches him in front, Sanders tries a drag by on the edge but they go out. Period ends 4-2 Nicholson.

2nd Period: Sanders starts down...:41 of riding time for Nicholson. False start on Sanders. Sanders up and turns in, but Nicholson takes his legs out and brings him flat...Sanders sits up to his feet and Nicholson returns him again...Sanders sits out and pops out the back door for the escape...4-3 Nicholson. 1:05 riding time for Nicholson now. Shot attempt by Nicholson, Sanders tries to spin behind but Nicholson stays with him and doesn't give it up. Sanders in on a low ankle shot now with Sanders trying to come up between the legs, but Nicholson funks it to tie it up for the stalemate. Half shot by Sanders. Another shot attempt by Sanders, Sanders in on a high crotch now, but Nicholson locks on an ankle again and the period ends 4-3 Nicholson.

3rd Period: Nicholson starts down...riding time is gone, and Nicholson slips out...5-3 Nicholson. Half shot by Sanders...1:15 to go...shot attempt by Nicholson, Sanders sprawls back now he's working a front head up on the feet, Sanders looks for his inside trip...:30 to go and they go out now with :23 to go. Sanders in deep on a single, and he dumps for the TD with :15 to go...Nicholson trying to escape on short time, gets out of position and Sanders sucks him back for 2 NF at the buzzer for the win.

Zach Sanders dec James Nicholson 7-5

I think they're just going to have Duenas step in and wrestle Krom.

For the Lehigh match, the front half of his head was in cornrows and the back was not. It was one of the goofiest hair dos I've ever seen and it gave me a good laugh. I guess he got half way done and it was time to weigh in.

Gas tank. I saw him just abuse guys with that tank in highshool. He rarely gets outscored in the third period.

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed. I kind of had Sanders pegged to be a few points better then Nicholson, not needing some luck at the end. Maybe 125 will be more competitive then I thought.

Had Nicholson not gotten that iffy first TD we may have seen a different match. Regardless its still a good win for Sanders over a tough opponent.

Dennis leads 3-0 over Bell with an escape and a body lock TD countering a Bell attempt at a throw by...:42 to go in the 2nd.

And as I'm trying to type this, Bell 4 points Dennis off the restart and then lets Dennis out to tie the match 4-4
