Probably Herbst getting that reversal at Midlands against Varner that gave Iowa the 2008 Midlands title.

    As a wrestler
Going undefeated my freshman year & qualifying for districts my junior year.

    As a spectator
Watching PSU's Ashley Swift, (normally 167) wrestle Oklahoma's Jim Cutchall (Heavyweight like 250 lbs!) in Rec Hall. If Cutchall pinned him OU would win the dual meet. A Tech dec would tie & anything less would mean a PSU win. Cutchall had enough to beat Swift by TF & was taking him down at will but Swift mustered the strength to take down his opponent with less then a minute left & then ride him to take away the RT. Swift lost, (12-7) but PSU won the match & the crowd went crazy flooding & carrying him off the mat afterwards. Thats when I was really hooked on wrestling.

Here's another link about that match:

Also running into my former coach, NCAA champ John Fritz at the Seoul Olympics & then watching John Smith win the Gold.
