^^^JensenS, Yes, I like Bell a lot, too. He's a brawler shlo looks to me like he rather be out in the back alley fighting than on the mat with a ref. I think the 2009 NCAA Tournament at 133 consis got a bit off-song. You had a situation where Strayer was better than Baker, who I'd say was better than Bell. BUT Strayer, who was beating Baker got penalized for illegal hold, injuring Baker (who won, though behind on the board) and Baker had to defualt to Bell. HEY, Bell earned AA, but arguably could well have been bested by Strayer or Baker. Whatever, let's see how 2010 plays out.

Two ranting and raving posts within three minutes.

It seems as though Terp got under young Lost's skin a little bit.

Anyway we wont get to see that match, so I'll settle for Hoch putting a mormon style beating on Steve "Overrated" Bell
Yes, and he had surgery the week after NCAAs. I've known the young man for 5 years and trust me, he had more courage in his injured shoulder than you have in your entire body. He had the option of not wrestling on Saturday and he chose to compete. So now some jerk like you can cast aspersions on his ability.

Have you ever even seen Bell compete? Doubtful. You can find his Body Bar match with Hochstrasser if you care to, and see that it was a very close bout.

Read more slowly, it's okay to move your lips if you can't keep up. I was referencing your allegation that Bell would not repeat as an AA this year, thus your likely early afternoon drunken revelry.

You aren't even a has been, you sit on your fat ass and cast judgment on the young men who have the courage and skill to actually compete in wrestling. But then again you are typical of the forum ilk how post endlessly on these sites.

What you'll never find me doing is engaging in the type of negative vitriol against wrestlers that you love to spew out since you never had the balls or skill to compete in college. Easier for you to try to tear them down since you could never reach anything approaching their level.

    Yet another internet jack ass.

For the record, word on the street is that Lost is quite the lanky bastard so he wouldn't be a "fat ass"

I think he can have the opinion that Ness would put bonus on him without it turning into this type of tirade. Is Steve Bell your son?

Hah... I've seen Bell compete plenty of times, including his ACC championship and his win over Dennis. I watched Hoch beat him at the Body Bar and was not particularly impressed. Its been a while but if memory serves most of the points Bell scored were off Hochstrasser getting overly agressive and sloppy from the top (something he is known for).

Bell is a quality d1 wrestler who is proven that he will consistently win over lesser competition and has the ability to pull an upset every now and then. However he has not proven that he is anywhere near the level of Ness or Hochstrasser, and the last time he wrestled someone of those guys caliber he got techfalled.

You know the man personally, so naturally you are overly defensive about him and want to think that the world is all sunshine and rainbows when it comes to his future. Maybe your optimism will turn out for the better, after all, I certainly didnt expect Bell to make the podium last year.

Unlike you however I have no desire to pull my punches when it comes to predicting guys placement, I am as you say, "an internet jackass". This is not little league soccer; everyone doesn't get to go home with a trophy every year. That honor is reserved for the top 8 guys in the weight every year. If you look at Bells past record and his very fortuitous NCAA bracket and then look at this years 133 field a repeat performance seems highly unlikely to me.

This is one of the most heated threads I've seen in a long time, and it's over disagreeing predictions. Fascinating...
