    Default Iowa signs Anthony Baldosaro

Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

One, two, Evans is coming for you...

In reading the Iowa board this was the guy that they were all really hoping to get.

Kudos to the Hawks for picking up Metcalf's apparent successor.

Really? What about Carew? Wiltz might know more about this, hmmm....I'm thinking next year's line up will look like:

    125: Clark/Ramos
    133: Moore/McDonough
    141: Moore/McDonough
    149: Carew
    157: St. John
    165: ?
    174: Gambrall
    184: Lofthouse
    197: ?
    HWT: ?

The year after, maybe a bump around in those midweights and Baldosaro slots in there with Telford at HWT. Hmmm....

Probably should have specified a little more, I don't expect Baldosaro to step in next year as Metcalf's immediate successor but given the way that they've been talking him up it seems as though he's the guy more so than Carew who is expected to be "the guy" there in the middle of the line up once he comes off a likely redshirt.

    The problem with Carew is I don't see him being a career 149, he's 5 10"

next year will be extremely interesting for the hawks. lots of new talent, no glaring holes.
