Much in the same vein as Meade out at OK State, Gopher rival or no Gopher rival I've got to rep DE.

So as to whether or not this means I'll be rooting for a Hawkeye, that it does, unfortunately.

Like the article points out, Telford is a guy who has gotten really big, really fast so it'll be really interesting to see how he progresses.

Once he stops growing and starts getting used to being as big as he is (and spends some quality time with Doyle) he is going to be nasty.

Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Obviously when studying history he didn't look before 1976 or else he would have realized that Ok St has the best history as far as Div I college wrestling goes. Iowa still has a long way to go to catch them.

Surprisingly, I'm also an OK State fan (actually, I'm a fan of any college that fields a wrestling team), but, you have to admit that given OSU's 50 year head start, Iowa has been closing the gap very rapidly. I'm hoping that I live long enough to see it hit 40 OSU and 41 Iowa - then God can take me (as long as my granddaughters have gone to their senior proms).
2011 NAIA Wrestling Championships, March 3, 4 & 5, Cedar Rapids, IA. I'll see you there.

This sounds similar to the route taken by Stephan Neal, although Neal never won Ca. States, taking 4th as a senior. He made up for lost time though...
Best of luck to the lad. Always pull for Delaware, Pennsylvania's kneepad !
