    Default Jordan Burroughs to 165?

Rumors swirling about that Jordan Burroughs will be heading to 165 lbs. If this is true, that is some friggin weight class. Does Burroughs become the slight favorite? Crazy times ahead.

Burroughs is a clear favorite at 165 if that is where he ends up.

I think he caps another undefeated season with a 3rd victory of Schlatter in the national finals after beating him in the regular season, evening their record to 3-3.

I wouldn't call him a clear favorite. His match with Schlatter last year was very close, and Schlatter accomplished plenty last year.

In a related story, 149 lbers have started eating everything in sight, and 165 lbers started cutting off limbs!

In MY mind he is a clear favorite. Obviously as a gopher fan I'm hoping for Schlatter to take home the hardware this year, but I truly think Burroughs is on a different level at this point.

I'd love to see it... The weird thing is that a summer interview with Burroughs said he plans to compete post-collegiately at 66kg (145.5), if that's the case this move wouldn't make much sense.

On that note, these rumors surprise me a lot. Burroughs didn't strike me as an over-sized 157 last year...

This move would make 165 the toughest weight we've seen in a long time, though. Tougher than 157 last year, and tougher than 149 the year before.

    If you say so...
