Thread: Roll Call

    Default Roll Call

Okay, so I am having a senior moment but if the regular users here could give each other a little quick run down of age/location/life basics, it would be really helpful for me.

I am C.J. Turner, 38, Tampa, FL. I moved down from Minnesota about ten years ago but still have lots of family in that area. I wrestled at Apple Valley and Mankato East Highschool and for a short time at Gustavus Adolphus College. (yes, Gezundheit!) I have three boys, Lincoln, 8, Grayson 6 and Zander 2. My wife of ten years is Michelle. We own a Dairy Queen (bank owns) and small business called www.springhillfunzone.com (bank owns) and I have worked for Starbucks Coffee Company as an Account Services Manager for the last 5 years.

I was not nearly the wrestler that I tell everyone that I was.

Just want to know who I am spending my days and nights with goofing off.

I'm Mike Novak. I'm 26 years old, and currently live in Ocala, FL. I wrestled for a local high school here in Ocala. I started wrestling late, my junior year, but fell in love with it. I was only ever a decent wrestler during high school, but really reached my wrestling "peak" (and I use the term loosely) after I graduated, winning a few open USA tournaments, including beating state placers and champions. I went to Stetson University for both undergrad and law school. I graduated law school, and am currently unemployed (sadly), but looking for jobs avidly.

I'm Christian Pyles. I'm 24 years old living in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I've been happily married for 3 years on October 21st. My wife is a music teacher so she is my suga momma for now because I work as direct care in a childrens psychiatric hospital. I started wrestling late as well Zapp, but after I graduated I caught some sort of rare wrestling nerd bug and began to watch and study wrestling on line for about 3 hours a day and have continued to do so for a number of years. I am the head coach of Buffalo Gap high school this year. I attend Old Dominion University and I will graduate this Summer and hope to get a special education teaching job next school year.

My faith is very important to me, though I don't represent my beliefs well at times.

Jim Brown, Cedar Rapids, IA. I'll turn 60 in March. Married (my wife is a teaching associate with autistic kids), 2 daughters (attorney and teacher), 2 granddaughters - Piper and Fae (3 and 2 1/2), 3 step-grandkids - Madison (14), Cassie (13) and Connor (7). I have worked in the direct marketing business (I help companies send you junk-mail) for 28 years and have owned my own consulting firm for the last 19. I never wrestled, but became a fan when a friend took me to watch Gable wrestle in 1969. Someone once told me that he thought my screen name meant that my wrestling record was 121-2. Nope - those are my season ticket seats in Carver Hawkeye Arena, Section GG, Row 12, Seats 1 and 2. This will be my 23rd season with those seats.

I remember telling EL that giving humans a soul ,free will and redemption seemed a bit much and next thing I know I am no longer Angelic but Human -EL has no sense of humor -I am currently a scribe sending missives to heaven where I am begining to doubt they are being read .
My last message alerted him the Leviathan was on the move -see all manner of new fish species and giant squid and former denizens of the deep coming to shore -they flee in terror .
    the soul eater comes .
At best you have 100 years -enjoy them as ye may.The next Darkness will be permanent . Abandon all hope .

Payton, priceless. GG121and2 and vaisforlovers, I am pumped to have you guys on board. My oldest son Lincoln has Down Syndrome and some autism spectrum disorder. Thank you both directly and indirectly for the work that you do for children and or your wife does for children. It is IMPORTANT and life-changing work though you may not always know it. I don't have to say anything to Zapp, he knows were Florida brothers already.

Thanks gofer, I know I'm lucky to work with the kids I've gotten to know.

I am Gregg Dinderman, and I live in Arlington, MA, the next town out from Cambridge. I've lived in the Boston area for the last 23 years. I am 57, and I've been married for 22 years as of this November to my wonderful wife, a professional harpist. I work as illustration director for Sky & Telescope magazine in Cambridge. (My weekend job is moving a harp ...)

I grew up in Northwest Cedar Rapids, and wrestled there from the 5th grade through the 12th, except for the 7th grade. I wasn't a good wrestler, but I've wrestled a few, and met many more. Gable and Les Anderson were two of my many P.E. instructors at Iowa State, and Gable's nice aunt was my boss at my high school job in C.R. (Funny, I ALWAYS got time off for wrestling ...) I worked in Iowa City for 5 years in the late 70s and early 80s, and I also lived in Lawrence, KS for 5 years, where I met my wife.

Do you mean the one that sues landlords on the behalf of kids suffering from lead poisoning?
