Default 0-2 for the Buckeyes and Pennsylvania

Ohio State had Kindig, Peppleman and Evans all in Columbus for the USC game and both Kindig and Peppleman have verballed elsewhere, that is 0 for 2 for the bucks they better hope for some extra helpers to go along with Steiber or that will be a big let down.
Also I heard big Max from Graham verballed to Pitt so they need to be banging on Huntley's door daily

I thought it was always kind of assumed that Peppelman would go Ivy anyway?

Missing out on guys this year isn't the worst thing in the world anyway. They've already scored the #1 overall recruit in Stieber.

Next year you have the upperweight triumvirate of Phillips, Campolattano, and McIntosh coming out as the top 3 guys in the country. If they're unable to get Phillips I'm sure they'll break the bank to try and get one of the others.

They'll probably want to save a little scratch to toss some to little Stieber when he comes out next year too.

I seem to recall that Peppleman is going to either Harvard or Penn.

Harvard would have been my guess since that is where his brother goes, but he officially committed to Cornell today.

People said they thought he'd go Ivy all along, but he chose Cornell over Ohio State and Virginia. From what I've heard, he really didn't seriously consider any other Ivies. I read somewhere that he didn't consider Harvard because he wanted to go his own way.

In any case, lots of happy Big Red fans right now.

I've got to say I'm a bit disappointed with the class so far. Don't get me wrong--Stieber is phenomenal--but he is the only commitment at this point and they missed out on a grreaattt Jamie Clark and now a Kindig who was supposedly very interested in Ohio State. It would have been nice to keep Jerome Robinson, too, since Clark had already committed elsewhere.

Hopefully they can get Mike Evans and Josh Demas. I don't really know who else they are looking at at this point.

Huntley,Demas,Evans need to be in my opinion tops on the list for the Buckeyes to go after. The following year Phillips,Steiber 2,Tessari,Braschetta are next, Really hope they can find a HWT to come in but in Ohio I just don't see any of the guys really jumping out as great finds.
Come on Tommy find us a HWT

Not a chance Campolattano heads to Columbus. A) Rutgers is in his backyard, his coach and Goodale are good buddies and RU has offered opportunities to many undeserving from that school; payback time. B) The road from NJ to Columbus passes through State College. Who's weight class will he be wrestling at?
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.
