People said they thought he'd go Ivy all along, but he chose Cornell over Ohio State and Virginia. From what I've heard, he really didn't seriously consider any other Ivies. I read somewhere that he didn't consider Harvard because he wanted to go his own way.

In any case, lots of happy Big Red fans right now.

Both Huntley and Evans were at Mizzou this past weekend and had a great visit. Someone who knows Huntley got some inside information and it seems that the trip was outstanding. If Mizzou gets both Blair boys it would be a plus for thier program. Read that Huntley is going to a few more visits and Evans heads to Hawkeye country next weekend.

B) The road from NJ to Columbus passes through State College. Who's weight class will he be wrestling at?
Does he still have an undefeated HS career?

The title of this thread apparently is trying to imply that OSU & PSU is losing in recruiting battle. WHAT?

Peppleman & Central Dauphin HS have been visiting Cornell for wrestling camp every year since Peppleman has been in HS. No surprise that Cael loaded up on other PA middle weights. Coach Koll's hometown IS State College, PA so he made plenty of visits to Harrisburg. NO SURPRISE Marshall went to Cornell even though brother Walt went to Harvard.

Kindig saw that PSU had their middle weights sown up so he was OSU & Iowas to lose. Having chosen Ok St, I dont think this constititues a devastating loss on the Buckeyes recruiting efforts. Ryan has done a helluva job ib a VERY short time in Columbus.

Intermat ranked the 2009 recruiting classes as PSU 6th & OSU 10th. FYI In their top 25 recruiting class rankings the B10 has 9 schools of their 11. The B12 has 4 of their 5 schools.
