Kind of funny that he'll be teammates with Oliver, his opponent in the district, regional, and state finals from two years ago.

Great get for the Pokes though obviously.

The rich just get richer. I think Oklahoma State may do a better job of national (and international?) recruiting than any other school.

This December 4th, Minnesota visits Stillwater for an exciting early dual. Can't wait.

Thanks for the link, that was a good interview.

One interesting point - he believes he has a lot of room to improve, because he doesn't currently have anyone in the room to challenge him, whereas the Altons have each other.

I've read that he and Oliver are very good friends.

He said that in the interview also.

I'm sure it will be depressing news to you, but he said that Ohio State was #2 on his list.

Kindig also stated "In the beginning I considered Penn State. But after the first month, I kind of lost contact with them. That's probably because they have the Altons and they have their weight classes set. So they wouldn't really need me. That's what happened there."

I've watched Josh over the past few years & feel its too bad PSU didnt land him as I think he will be a 3x AA & possible Olympian. But there are so many spots in the line up. I think that if he would've been @ 125/133 or 174+ he might have ended up @ PSU.

FYI the link on Intermat shows that PA has 15 of the 65 recruits on that report. Thats more then 2x 2nd place NY (7). Iowa is 3rd @ 6, OH 4th @ 5, Michigan 5th @ 4, Missouri & NJ 6th @ 3. I think this is showing that this class from PA is adding to their prestige.

I mention this, as a side note, as I have still been reading more then once, on several other BBs, that people still think Cael left ISU solely for the money. A quick glance will show that 32 of the 65 recruits are from PA or from states bordering PA. There is more talent within driving distance of PSU then just about anywhere else. I think that fact stands by it self as Cael's purpose for arriving in State College.

Does that mean he's giving back the money?
