I think wrestling folks are making a stink about this stuff are hypocritical. When their Div I FB or Men's BB coach makes a couple million & takes the school to a BCS Bowl, Woo Hoo their all over the BBs bragging about their school. When their school signs a uniform deal & makes a couple extra million that helps the school provide help to Men's programs that are folding up in the face of Title IX shut downs THEY ARE ALL ABOUT IT. Have a chance to call someone a sell out (when if given the same opportunity THEY WOULD TAKE THE MONEY & RUN) Oh they can't wait. As I said HYPOCRITS.

I don't think anyone was calling him a HYPOCRITE, I think it's obvious to everyone that the move was made for many reasons. Money and proximity to talent pool would have to be two of the biggies though, no?

I don't blame Cael at all for taking the money. Now he'll have to earn it. But the sanctimonious fans who say the money wasn't a factor are pretty funny. Flop has it right: money and talent pool. |

He was unhappy in Ames & when Troy resigned Cael made a reach. Tim Curley, PSU AD, said he didnt even have Cael on the list, short or long. The implication by some is that he is perceived like Saban or Pitino. Nothing could be farther then the truth. I can understand that some in Ames might be disappointed by it doesn't justify some fo the bashing he took.
