I'm excited to see how all the Cornell wrestlers look at their new weights. Only TNick, Grey and Simaz will be back at the same spots. I'm excited to see Arnone at heavy, Lewnes at 74, Kerber at 65. Can't wait to see Dake wrestle in college.

Curious to see what the impact of Kevin Jackson will be on ISU and how they will fare against their in state rival.

I'm excited to see Jordan Oliver and Dustin Schlatter in folkstyle and see if the domination a lot of people predict for them will become reality.

I'm interested to see how the Ellis/Bradley competition plays out.

I'm very interested to see how Brent Metcalf comes back this year, and how he will shake off how last season ended. (Obviously for him personally, not for the team.)

What will Cael do with Penn State? Will it be an immediate change?

Will Mike Zadick stop using so much damned gel in his hair?

Im excited to see Nikko Triggas from Ohio State if he adjusted. He is the same wrestler that beat Olivar in Reno Tournament and has beaten Sanders before. I hope he can step it way up from last year as I know he can.

I'm excited to see what will probably be THE best wrestling team in the history of University of Maryland wrestling.
- Three returning AAs for the first time ever.
- Mike Letts off of red shirt
- Hudson Taylor will be our first ever three time AA
- A breakout season at Hwt for Pat Gilmore
- Expecting great things from redshirt freshman Josh Asper
- Brian Letters back at his proper weight
- and a recruiting class that will probably be ranked in the top 5.

We've come a long way from when we were on life support and barely keeping the program alive.

My man Brent Metcalf.

A 133 lb. weight class which features 3 of my favorite wrestlers, Dan Dennis, Jayson Ness, and Franklin Gomez. I'm so torn. In the end, I think I'm most rooting for Ness, though.

Slaton vs. LeClere at 141 for the Hawks.

The 141 lb. class in general. How will Hump and Kennedy look at this weight?

Can anybody keep it close with Jordan Burroughs?

165 lbs. The toughest, most boring weight of all time?

What will Jay Borschel do? Is he the 3rd place/championship material from his soph year, the non-AA from his junior, or somewhere in between?

In the lighter weights - I'm interested to see how Oliver, Triggas, and Dolan will do. I can't believe what a sub-par season Dolan had. He was an absolute stud in PA, beat Sanders in the Dapper Dan, and then had a losing record at Mizzou. Maybe moving up will help him. Otherwise, I have no clue what the hell happened. Kellen Russell will be interesting to watch as well - the dude dominated all year and then crapped the bed. Don't sleep on him this year.

Middle weights - Will DS and Metcalf both be one-timers? There should be some great matches in the middle weights, with DS, Howe, Welch, Winston, Burroughs, O'Connor, Sponseller, Lewnes, etc... all banging around.

Heavy weights - I don't really give two squirts about anything over 174. The matches are usually boring as hell. But - I do wonder if Craig will ever live up to his pedigree. Is Florida HS wrestling really that overrated? I say yes. Shocker.

From a team perspective, I'm looking forward to seeing how Cael handles his team over the next few years. The talent level he is recruiting in-state in phenomenal, the Alton brothers have been dominant for many years, and I'd pay good money to be in the room in 2010 and 2011 when all of that talent is fighting for spots. It's nice to see a college program in PA have some promise.

Excited to see how improved ASU is over last year. Excited to not be embarrassed to go to a home dual at ASU now too, lol, but seriously.
