Who do you think will be the best NCAA wrestler this year from neutral? I think it's Burroughs by a good deal. His shot and reshots are awesome and he has a great double. Humphrey is also pretty good from the feet, as is Nickerson

"Wanting to win, that is common to all. But working to win, the drive to go the extra mile, to push yourself while no one's looking..that is the mark of a true champion."
i'd have to go with Leen .
As ignorant as this may sound, Metcalf. It seems like the default answer for questions regarding NCAA wrestling for the average person without much knowledge towards NCAA wrestling or wrestlers, but I believe he's the best. He seems to take people down consistently without much effort. The only times he really has problems is when he begins to panic and loses his composure.
"It ain't about how hard you hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving foward, how much you can take and keep moving foward. That's how winning is done!"

Yeah, i remember watching that on some website. He just crumbled under pressure against he first round wrestle Darrion Caldwell.

Yeah. I think people are over-exaggerating the effects that the finals loss will have on him, it was only one loss, and I think that if anything, it will help. Metcalf may have gotten too big a head near the end of last year, because he was just dominating everyone. Idk. Now that he has been given an L again, I think his senior year will be fantastic, with Caldwell and Bubba both out, it's def his year.

That's exactly what I said. It'll help motivate him for next year. I think he'll come back and dominate again but this time all the way through the finals and then continue on to be a good world freestyle wrestler

Yeah. Last year, he really seemed to turn it on after getting pinned by Caldwell. I don't know what happened, because Brent looked great in the finals for the Big 10s and all the way throuhg NCAAs until finals. It's not like he had four or five big losses, it was just one.
