Even though he place 6th last year, CP Schlatterbug hasn't had the best of post seasons given his record and seedings entering the tournament.

Re: Best season, not so great post season wrestler i would tend to agree with that...it can really be said that by in large the gophers as a team performed that way last year at Nationals other than Ness and Konrad, who really MET expectations last year.
the good news though is that they are truly the strongest team so they were able to pull it out in the end. national duals was really the litmus test...i think we all knew it was going to be a three horse race at the end with Missouri, Iowa State and Minnesota.
