Default D1collegewrestling.net Coaches Poll: Burroughs Best PFP

    http://d1collegewrestling.net/Honors_D1CWPoll.html

This is a great piece by Earl of d1collegewrestling.net. Head coaches were polled on a variety of topics, from wrestler with the best double leg takedown to best gas tank, and even best head coaches.

It's a fun an interesting read.

Was just coming over here to post this. Definitely was a very cool thing to see how coaches felt about these topics.

That was really interestin to read.

Varner is 5th best pfp? Gotta disagree with that. I feel like Dustin Schlatter 2nd is inaccurate. Top 5 maybe but Caldwell beat him last time they wrestled and so did metcalf. I think people are still infatuated with his freshmen year.

But D1 coaches have probably forgotten more than I will evir know about wrestling. Soo...I'll just stop.

It's awesome to see this and see how people who are right in the mix of things feel.

A couple surprises, but I was surprised most by Burrough's margin of victory in the pound for pound vote. He got almost half the votes!

Maybe makeing world team at his new weight might have something to do with that. Metcalf got pretty luck against D Shlatter with his banged up knee in the Big ten finals and almost got pinned early if you remember that match. Schlatter had him on his back and Metcalf squirmed his way out. A Fat and happy DSchlatter will win it all IMO at 165
