Default What happened to Isaac Wood?

The year I went to Junior Nationals Isaac Wood, Oscar Wood's brother, won in my weight class. Everyone talks about Kjeldgaard's (sp?) ruined career in college but Isaac Wood was just the King of Junior Nationals in mid 90s. Nobody could touch him. Does anyone know why he never did much at Oregon in college?

Here are his impressive high school results:

Isaac came to OSU a few years after I had left, but knew the both of them fairly well. Isaac wrestled 158 for the Beavs in 97 and 98-going to NCAA's.
2 things I think.....1. FR/GR was his thing. 2. He was very mature and a fully grown man at 15, I think others just caught up in strength and college wrestling really wasn't his thing. None the less the guy was a monster!

He should have gone straight to OTC I guess.

That year in 1995 his teammate (up to 3 people per state per weight at Juniors) from Oregon cost me an AA status. This guy kept crying every time I was about to score and in OT after I was warned by a very protective ref to keep from "illegal" moves (like trying to gut him while his arm gets stuck out or standing up with a leglace and he is screaming and I am told to watch his neck) he countered me on my gut and won the match. This guy was just the type of guy that turned into some weird ass positions to defend my moves.

I can't remember his name but he was kind of short and stocky. I am sure the brackets from 95 still exist.
