oh...hmm. I will refrain from beginning another Taylor v. Grajales debate.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

Much appreciated as they're about as equal as they could possibly be, and another who's better debate will get us all nowhere.

Taylor could not find a better technician in the country than Ohio St. asst. Coach Lou Rosselli. Sanderson is not in Roselli's league when it comes to teaching technique.

What need does he have for a smokescreen? He has been released, he could sign immediately with PSU with no penalty. The only reason to talk about looking at other schools when in fact you are not interested is to leverage PSU for additional money. I don't think that is factor here because I'm sure PSU is going to give him all that they have available to give.

The 'smoke screen' would have been what he told the administration at ISU to get his release. "I intend to check out [Insert school where Sanderson isn't coaching]" so they wouldn't think about not releasing him.

Not that they would do anything like that, but I could see that as a possibility.

I think Taylor goes to PSU but he is making sure he gets full ride. And yes I think he is the No 1.

“Penn State is where I want to go,” Taylor said. “I think real highly of Coach Sanderson and his staff. But I think things happen for a reason. I just want to make sure I check everything out this time.”

Makes perfect sense to me. As others have said he didn't go to Ames for the atmosphere, he went for Cael. He'll follow him to Penn State.
