The thinking on the local forum is that Sponseller will go 165 and Nemec 157. I don't think Johnstone beats a healthy Sean Nemec in a wrestle off. Johnstone's a 149 anyway and really needs to bulk up to have a chance to break into next year's lineup. Triggas might challenge immediately vs. Livingston. Touris should redshirt and so should Weakley since Picazzo, Puccilo, and Bergman will man 174 to 197.
Yeah Steve I think Sponseller at 65 and Nemec (who when healthy I agree beats Johnstone) gives the Buckeyes their best mid-lineup. I just think Sponseller can "pick his weight class" against Nemec...

I wouldn't want to be facing them in two years...
I think the Buckeyes class has three guys that are going to be very good--Triggas, Nemec and Sponseller. Weakley has a lot of physical talent but it's unclear how he'll handle the rigors of D1. State champ Touris (3rd at Srs 112) adds depth at 125. Now for the rumors--Pat Harrington (state champ, made Srs Rd of 12 at 119) and Jesse Campbell (state champ over Cameron Wade at hvy) are supposedly about to commit to the Buckeyes. The sexier rumor has Terrell Dlagnev considering a transfer to Ohio State for his final season. Add those guys--and the Bucks have the best class.
While not the best, it looks like another Ohio school will be moving up the recruiting ranks. Ohio U, got Germaine Lindsey who originally committed to Cleveland State. This is after already getting:
Michael Fennell (NY), Darrin Boring, Matt Reedy, Nick Perdue, Andy Hartshorne, and Justin Powell.
A bunch of OH state champs there. Also, I think they might get Graham's Aaron Hart (a pretty big prospect last year) as a transfer from Wisconsin at 125.
Ohio State just added two state champs--119 Pat Harrington and Hvy Jesse Campbell--to their recruiting class. They also signed state 3rd placer at hvy Eric Diagosta. Harrington made it to round of 12 at Sr Nationals while Campbell defeated Cameron Wade in state finals. These guys add depth and potential to a roster that is rapidly being revamped. Bucks are going to have a lot of competition in the room (although it's "green"). In past years, lack of depth has been a huge problem for tOSU. Coach Ryan seems to be addressing it.
