Very, very serious allegations made in the story...

However, the story as written seems to be missing key words such as ALLEGED or SUSPECTED. This story has been written as if the two Cornhuskers had either confessed, or have been convicted.

I think the story as presented is rather sloppy journalistically and legally, and, if it turns out that Donahoe and Jordan are not involved -- or are the victims (remember the whole hidden-videocameras-in-the-lockerrooms-at-the-Midlands case a dozen years ago? The wrestlers caught on tape were not witting porn stars) -- these TV stations will be in a heap o' trouble.

Then again, if the wrestlers are guilty, then... they are in the heap o' trouble.

A | A | A Nebraska University officials are investigating two UNL wrestlers, one- a national champion, for their involvement in pornography.

National champion Paul Donahoe and teammate Kenny Jordan have been posing for pornographic photos featured on a homo-erotic site, however the two are shown individually.


The series of photos show the two wrestlers in various stages of undress, including full frontal nudity.

UNL wrestling head coach Mark Manning released a statement that says the situation is being reviewed internally, and that they are aware of the situation.

If that's true, that falls in the "not good" category. Not even sure where to begin on what kind of trouble they would be in with the university. Legally I am not sure they have done anything wrong but from a scholarship athlete view, that could be bad.

There's nothing illegal about the photo's. The university can't do anyting about it, plenty of gals have on campus have posed for Playboy. As Goph pointed out, there is critieria about code of conduct in that scholarship agreement. No way is Manning going to do anything to chase them out of the program.
