CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Win, lose or final tournament finish, there was one constant throughout the Oregon State wrestling team's season in 2012-13, a celebratory or motivational tweet courtesy of assistant coach Kevin Roberts.
Now the seventh year assistant is being recognized for his push button prowess as he is one of only eight assistant wrestling coaches in the nation to be nominated for the `Social Media of the Year Award'. The special honor was voted on by Elite Level Sports Marketing and the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
Roberts, who can be found and followed on Twitter @kroberts118, has posted 180 character updates such as this one, when his team upset No. 8 Cornell in Ithaca, Jan. 27.
