Gage Harrah of Crystal Lake (IL) earns the No. 2 rankings at 189 lbs this season after going 41-0 and winning the Illinois Class 2 State Championship.* Harrah would also win the USAW Junior Folkstyle National Championship to complete his impressive season.* As the strong bodied Gage Harrah gears up for his Senior season, expect him to attract plenty of attention in the college recruiting process.
Senior Kenny Courts of Central Dauphin (PA) finishes up his successful high school career, going 47-2 and winning his 2nd Pennsylvania AAA State Championship, pinning his finals opponent in 38 seconds.* Courts would start the year by dominating the Super 32 national preseason tournament, and also won the Powerade Christmas tournament.* His 2 losses came at the Beast of the East, losing close matches to take 5th place (2-1 vs. No. 15 James Fox, and 6-4 to H.M. Perry Hills).* After a career record of 143-6, he begins the next phase at Ohio State this fall, where he?ll be wrestling for the Buckeyes and has all the skills to continue his success at the next level.
