II State Championship over Case Garrison (H.M.) and his only loss of the season came to No. 1 Hunter Stieber in the semi?s of a stacked 135 lbs Walsh Ironman bracket.* Nate would place 3rd at the Ironman after beating No. 13 Bryce Brill, Steve Spearman (H.M.), Gabe LaVey (H.M.) and No. 10 Chase Ferman in the process.* To finish off the season, Skonieczny would dominate at FloNationals (130 lbs), finishing with a tech fall over No. 15 Quinton Murphy in the finals.* Next season, expect Nate Skonieczny to only improve on his resume and return as one of the top recruits in the nation at his weight class.
