Dan Gable turned 60 Saturday. The event went relatively unnoticed. Wrestling historian and writer, Mark Palmer, made note of it on the internet Friday and I?ve seen or read little else about it.

I attended the 2008 wrestling Dream Team Classic in Iowa City Saturday night. The twelve-year-old event pits a team of national high school all stars against an all-star team from the host state.
