Re: Greatest French War Victories... First of all its ironic how Americans even think they can criticise anyone because they got completely whipped by a group of insurgents in both Vietnam (true france did too but french troops were in Indochina for nearly 100 yrs prior to this whereas US lasted 10) and o yeah i almost forgot Iraq... no comment... and basically you guys have an ego problem because you can't fathom that France was right in refusing to enter Iraq and you were completely wrong... your immaturity being reflected in the need to rename french fries to freedom fries... what's more WWII was not simply won by US... several of my family members died for France fighting the Germans in both WWI and then WWII in the resistance long before US decided that hey we aren't alone here... and almost got whipped by the Japs at which I LOL I also LOL at the fact that America almost lost against the Mexicans in the 19th century and that they then decided on a massive civil war in which the South nearly won... and also that you guys basicaly suck at all sports and hence have to invent your own... o yes and also the fact that by 2030 statistically every American will be overweight... LOL (please note the emphasis on the abbreviation lol throughout the post) o and btw about north african troops in france... you guys still haven't recognised the involvement of Black American troops throughout American military history (which by the way is several thousands of years shorter than the french history) and also if France hadn't been conquered by the Romans (I would also like to point out that prior to the Romans the population in Gaul (btw thats france before the Romans) was constituted of Gauls - the french are not descended from the Gauls but from the Francs (yes you may notice the similarity in names - hey its not a coincidence!) who invaded and pushed the Romans out... without the Romans also our society (which you guys seem to think have invented) would be very different to what it is today... btw have any of you even been to france? and im not talking about the cliche American thing which is visiting the eiffel tower etc... cos ive lived there for 6 years and been to the US - which besides New York is basically a giant shopping mall as you will all know
