Not to mention that Rodgers has little to no experience playing in those cold weather situations.
Ok, but it's what happened last year that matters most. He started playing within the system as opposed to "gunslinger" mode.
The Packers do not want him back. They are bluffing him to try and get him to stay in retirement. Do you think they want to spend $12 million on a back up QB? So, if the Packers don't want him back, and they also don't want him to play for other teams, who's screwing who? |
I was being a bit sarcastic with Rodgers and the NFC championship game. The point being everyone quickly forgot how poorly Favre had played in recent years and was quick to pump up Favres regular season last year. Yet the only game that mattered for him last year he stunk out the joint.
I would say Favre is still screwing the Packers as well as Aaron Rodgers. He made his decision he should deal with the consequences.
