To give you the quick summary of the way the system works is as follows:

Each bracket will be a 33-man bracket at the NCAA Tournament

Their will be a 110 Automatic Bids given to each of the qualifying tournament champions.

An additional 140-170 bids will be allocated prior to the qualfying tournaments. The wrestling committee will set a threshold and look at these three factors.

1. Winning Percentage
2. RPI Rank
3. Coaches Poll Rank

If you meet 2 of the 3 standards you earn a bid for your qualfifying tournament at that weight class. So you might see at a tournament 125 with 2bids, 133 with 4 and then 141 with 1.

Following the qualifying tournaments, the NCAA Wrestling Committee will meet in person to allocated the remaining bids to round out the 33-man brackets.
