You profit haters fail to acknowledge one thing. Profits make for larger supplies to win those wars. If there is no profits supplies will dwindle and wars get lost.

Its just like those suppliing lumber after a hurricane. If you dont allow high profits there is no incentive to ship that wood to areas that run out.

Contrary to some's short sighted economic theories profits are good, not bad.

Why was it that Yamamoto feared attacking the US in 1941? Its because he feared American industrial might which is fueled by those profits that some see as bad.
I thought wars are won or lost based on which country's people stand up and fight better to protect their homes, not for profit.

I think in the end those that fight for profit fail or achieve a Pyrrhic victory. Hence, Hitler lost, as did US in Vietnam, as did USSR in Afghanistan, as did Hussein during the Gulf war. That is because the will to fight for profit is always weaker than the will to protect your home and people.
