I haven't read the book so can't say more about it but we are talking about THE Smedley Butler, one of the most famous generals in Marine Corps history (our base in Okinawa is named after him). |
Yes , we are talking about THE Smedley Butler -google his name and you can read excerpts from his works -he names names , figures and his predictions are so accurate to be uncanny-more importantly He outlines a way to slow down the pace of self-destruction we are on -limit the army to self defense only -no aggressive forces -give the Soldiers a say in whether to fight te war -[whether it is a just and necessary action] as opposed to every war the US has been inolved in,and most importantly-pay the soldiers the same amount the corparate brokers are making .
The man was a genius ''there are 40,000,000 soldiers at arms . HELLS BELLS !!!What do you think ? that they are training as dancers ?'' This was in 1935.
