The logs need to be maintained. Since that picture was taken we have had the house powerwashed (we found out later that this should not be done to logs, corn cob blasting is recommended), restained, and replaced the roof.
It is definitely in the middle of nowhere. The town has about 800 people. I live on a dirt road that about a half mile long and has five houses on it. |
