If I love my country, I really don't need constant reminders of "how great I art". If I love my country, it doesn't necessarily hold true that I am superior to all the other people in the world. If I love my country, it doesn't mean I will forego criticism of its leaders or its people, no more than I would forego criticism of my own family or friends.
