It's hard to tell. Non-celebrities damage themselves too, although not always in the same way. The celebrities who engage in unhealthy lifestyles have ready access to good food and medical care that can help offset some of their ways. David Crosby has a liver transplant, but someone of his age not so rich and famous might just be dead now from cirrhosis.
