Re: Hey Big.... A few years ago we drove from Chicago to northern Louisiana for a family reunion of my husband's family. I hadn't been out of the city for awhile and I was struck (even though I grew up on a farm) by how much of America's economy outside of the city is based on argiculture. Duh. But when you live in the city, it's easy to forget, because you don't see it. Every town had a cotton gin and we saw a lot of cotton mills too. In addition to the cotton fields, a lot of the field were peppers. Now whenever I see a bottle of hotsauce I look at the label. It's always from there.
