I took a class in high school that was basically designed to be an easy class, because for many students, it was our seventh class. It was called Government and Society, and all we did was watch old war movies. I loved it! Some of my favorite movies of all time were introduced to me in that class:
The Best Years of Our Lives
Patton (George C. Scott is a Missouri Tiger!)
Casablanca
I also like Blackhawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, the Manchurian Candidate (original) and though this may not be a traditional war movie, I think it still qualifies-Dr. Strangelove. |
