I don't think all Christians are. Catholicism is based not only on holy scripture, but also holy tradition, and teachings of the magisterium, the church leaders. I do believe that the precepts are the most important parts of the Bible, especially the commandment that Jesus said is the most important of them all: Love God with your whole heart and soul, and love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Of course, not all Christians believe this way, and it makes me sad. Sometimes I fail to see the love of Christ in some people who claim they are Christians. |
