I don't see Minny getting past Iowa in the finals IF they get past Nebraska without Schlatter in the line-up. Mellmer at 149 has been a turtle and he is going to go up against Burroughs and then if the Gophers get past Nebraska he will draw
Metcalf.
That being said, I think the winner of Duals is the #1 Team. Okie State is a solid #2 behind them. Iowa wins duals, they are #1, Nebraska wins Duals, they are #1, Minny wins duals, they are #1. Michigan is not going to get past Iowa so I am not worried about that.
This is a dream year if you are a fan because I think this weekend throws not only duals into a complete barnburner but also the National Tournament as I still see alot of teams having some great individual point opportunities. Iowa, Iowa State, Penn State, CMU, Nebraska, Minny and Okie State.
Fun moment of the day...watching Malamura man up and take it to Rogers from West Virginia getting outweighed by 40-50 lbs. He was VERY physical in this match and he gives me hope that he might be able to stay with May and steal one tomorrow in their dual meet. I don't think he can pull something off against a guy like Fields but he might have a shot at May.
