You are exactly right, wrastler118. A friend of mine is a former Russian master level wrestling coach. He can't understand why our kids don't wrestle 12 months out of the year and why they waste time playing other sports in the fall or spring. He and I often debate the role of sport in one's life, and whether it's better to be totally focused or well rounded. The Russian mindset is total dedication to excellence.
